Set/Location
Location is chosen to control the environment of the film
e.g. if the set is a house in the open then the characters are more likely to
be in danger.
Costume
A style of dress, including
garments, accessories, and hairstyle, especially as characteristic of a
particular country, period, or people.
Character choices
If the film is a children’s film the actor used should be a
child too so the viewing child can relate to the action.
Use of props
Props are used to represent the genre of the film e.g. if
there is a gun it shows that the film is an action adventure film.
